PRIMARY SOURCE ACQUISITION • PRESERVATION • VERIFICATION

Collect evidence from the source, not from copies.

Email evidence collection without enterprise eDiscovery complexity, enterprise pricing, or weeks of processing delays.

LitEx was built for attorneys, investigators, consultants, organizations, and individuals who need defensible electronic evidence without enterprise infrastructure — or anyone needing to compile specific evidence into an easily delivered package without spending days searching for the needles hidden in the haystack.

The problem isn't finding evidence. It's proving where it came from.

Manual exports lose context

Forwarded emails, screenshots, copied text, and manually saved attachments separate evidence from the metadata that gives it meaning.

Enterprise eDiscovery is often unnecessary

Processing engines, hosted review environments, and consultant costs make little sense for many disputes, claims, and investigations.

Important evidence gets buried

Finding a handful of relevant communications inside years of email and thousands of attachments becomes expensive and time consuming.

LitEx turns scattered electronic information into portable evidence packages.

Direct acquisition

Collect directly from Gmail, Microsoft 365, Yahoo, and standards-compliant IMAP providers. No screenshots. No copy and paste. No PST gymnastics.

Preserve original evidence

Original RFC-822 email files, metadata, attachments, manifests, timestamps, and cryptographic hashes remain preserved exactly as collected.

Verify independently

SHA-256 fingerprints and RFC 3161 timestamps allow evidence packages to be verified months or years later.

Deliver immediately

EML files, PDFs, indexes, manifests, chronology reports, certificates, and attachments travel together in ordinary folders.

Hours become minutes

Exporting PST files, renaming attachments, creating indexes, and assembling exhibits become automated workflows.

Least privilege by default

This mailbox. This user. This session.

Not tenant-wide access, global administrators, or every mailbox in the organization.

Reduce the workload of discovery.

Faster evidence preparation

Automate collection, organization, preservation, and packaging of electronic information that would otherwise require hours of manual effort.

Preserve evidence context

Emails, attachments, metadata, manifests, indexes, chronology reports, and verification information remain together throughout the lifecycle of the package.

Portable by design

Evidence packages can be be delivered directly to attorneys, investigators, mediators, arbitrators, adjusters, consultants, experts, or clients.

Scale when needed

LitEx was designed around individual custodians and focused collections but can be applied repeatedly across multiple mailboxes, custodians, matters, and investigations.

Outputs that stand on their own.

Verification Certificate

SHA-256 verification and RFC 3161 trusted timestamps provide long-term validation years after collection.

Chronology Report

Reconstruct communications into attorney-friendly timelines for claims, investigations, mediation, and litigation.

Exhibit Index

Preview text and exhibit references allow rapid review without opening every exhibit individually.

Collect once.
Verify forever.Evidence First. Analysis Always.

LitEx was designed around repeatable acquisition, preservation of original artifacts, cryptographic verification, and independently verifiable outputs consistent with established digital evidence handling practices.

Its design was informed by principles reflected in forensic tool validation methodologies, including the NIST Computer Forensics Tool Testing (CFTT) program, and digital evidence preservation guidance contained in NIST IR 8387.
